Welcome to Serendipity 2!

Serendipity opened in Carmel in 2008. We enjoyed two years there but found parking difficult. Although we loved the L. S. Ayres lighting, the Vault and all of the elegance of the space, it was difficult to work....the "bank" was not built for a kitchen......Carmel took away parking and created patios....so people needed to be dropped off down the street!

So, October 1st, 2010 Serendipity got a new home...The ladies of The Propylaeum wanted to open additional banquet space, so the Carriage house became the new home of Serendipity 2. Serendipity means expect the unexpected and this space is just that. Originally built as the Carriage House to the house that is now The Propylaeum, in 1925 it became the first Children's Museum....Now it is the home for a lovely banquet and party space.

The main floor can seat over 60....the balcony 30. The beautiful windows let in spectacular lighting. The tall ceilings afford great acoustics! Walking in, you can think of all kinds of great party or celebration plans.

Upstairs is a bridal changing room if you are planning to tie the knot. Downstairs are additional meeting spaces. the great thing is that there are 50 free parking spaces.

Call us and we will arrange a special event for you....the menus will be unique...the party will be one that stays as a great memory forever.

We know that Serendipity 2 will become a new secret party place.
